Paul and Molly Wasswa
Paul and Molly Wassa have dedicated their lives to the education and care of children.

Both Molly and Paul trained as teachers, and as an orphan himself, Paul was inspired to open their first
school in 1983. In 2008 Kibuye Primary School celebrates 25 years of helping many young Ugandans in
their first years of education.

Over the years the Molly and Paul Childcare Foundation have opened other schools to provide homes as
well as education for some of Uganda's most vulnerable. There are now over 3500 children in eight
schools in Kampala and Masake district of Uganda.

Besides having children of their own, Paul and Molly have brought up many orphaned children including
adopting John Ssabunnya who was abandoned as a two-year-old in the dense jungle of Uganda to what
seemed certain death.

Molly is a Christian leader and a youth counsellor who also preaches at womens conference on the role
of women in Ugandan society.

Realising that music would be a means of brightening up the the lives of the young ones without
pondering about their backgrounds, Molly and Paul formed The Pearl of Africa Children's Choir. The choir
now share their enthusiasm and passion for music, uplifting our spirits and bringing joy wherever they
perform.
