Can you assure me that my donation will be used effectively and will help as intended?

Yes!
TPOACC is run entirely by volunteers and the whole amount of every regular sponsorship is sent to the
school for which it is intended, without any deduction for administration.
Our mission is to provide a transparent and accountable means of providing essential funds to enable
the work of The Molly and Paul Childcare Foundation to continue.

Can I sponsor a member of the choir or another named child?

Sponsors are welcome to nominate the school to which their sponsorship should be allocated but not
an individual child. There are various reasons for this but the mains ones are:

a. the School is best placed to decide which children are in most need;

b. the cost of administering individual named sponsorships from the UK would be prohibitive. The whole
amount of every regular sponsorship is sent to the school for which it is intended,

c. every child at a Molly & Paul school is important and as far as possible, we try to avoid creating
distinctions between those that benefit directly from overseas support and those that may not.

Can I keep in touch with the schools?

Sponsors are most welcome to communicate directly with their school in Uganda and they can also
receive periodic news reports. In addition, many sponsors visit their school to see the work being done
and to meet the children.

If I provide you with my bank details, how can I be sure they are safe?

Sponsors' bank details are kept strictly confidential by The Pearl of Africa Children's Choir Ltd.
(a UK registered charity). However, if a sponsor prefers to send his/her standing order form direct to
their own bank, this is perfectly in order but they should first ask us for a reference number so that we
can record their monthly payment from the TPOACC bank statement. It is only this reference number
that is passed to the school and unless the Sponsor requests otherwise, his/her personal details are
not disclosed.

It is a fact that every Ł15 per month sponsorship through TPOACC gives life, education and a
future to one more child in a Molly & Paul School.

Can I make a donation by credit card?

Yes, simply go to Donate Today and you can make a single payment or set up a regular sponsorship
